About the game 
Lost Words: Beyond the Page is a 2D narrative adventure game created by Sketchbook Games where players move words to solve puzzles. The game features a story written by Rhianna Pratchett and ties the narrative into the gameplay in an unusual way, by having the player running on and interacting with words and drawn items.
Lost Words: Beyond the Page is also a story about the experience of loss and grief.
Now also available on Nintendo Switch.
Gameplay Players navigate through 2D worlds set inside the diary of Izzy, the young narrator of Lost Words, by walking on the words and using them to solve a variety of puzzles.
- Discover the watercolor world presented in the pages of the diary as well as the vibrant fantasy world of Estoria.
- Harness words to alter the environment around you to create a safe passage for the protagonist in an entirely unique and refreshing style of platforming.
- Gather collectible fireflies
scattered across the lands of Estoria for an additional challenge.
